We are proud to announce that AJC has achieved Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification, a significant milestone that highlights our unwavering commitment to cyber security. Passing the rigorous assessment with no issues requiring remediation demonstrates the strength of our security posture and our dedication to protecting our clients, partners, and operations from cyber threats.
What is Cyber Essentials Plus?

Cyber Essentials Plus is the higher-level certification of the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme. Managed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the scheme is designed to help organisations defend against the most common cyber threats, addressing up to 80% of attack vectors.

Unlike the basic Cyber Essentials certification, which relies on self-assessment, Cyber Essentials Plus requires a third-party technical verification. This process involves detailed internal and external assessments of an organisation’s network and systems, ensuring compliance with strict security standards.

The audit includes:

  • A vulnerability scan to confirm devices are properly patched and configured.
  • An external scan of internet-facing IP addresses to identify potential risks.
  • A review of email and browser configurations to prevent execution of malicious files.
  • Evidence gathering, including screenshots, to verify compliance.
What This Means for AJC

Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus certification underscores our proactive approach to cyber security. By implementing robust security measures, we safeguard sensitive data, enhance client trust, and ensure the integrity of our operations in an increasingly digital world.

This certification reflects our commitment to:

  • Protecting our organisation and clients from evolving cyber threats.
  • Adhering to best practices for access control, secure configuration, software updates, malware protection, and firewalls.
  • Maintaining a secure environment for our partners and stakeholders.

The third-party assessment was conducted by an accredited certification body, whose rigorous evaluation confirmed that AJC’s security posture meets and exceeds the requirements of the Cyber Essentials Plus scheme.

A Commitment to Continuous Improvement

Cybersecurity is an ongoing process, and achieving CE+ certification is just one step in our journey. AJC will continue to review and enhance our security practices, ensuring we remain ahead of emerging threats and provide a trusted, secure foundation for all our services.

We are proud to join the directory of certified organisations listed on IASME’s website, solidifying our place among businesses that prioritise cybersecurity at the highest level.
